Roger Lloyd Wood’s Big Bands provide an afternoon concert of the most popular songs from the 1940’s featuring the “original” Big Band sounds of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. This band is “On Tour” performing in 9 California cities through November 2017. Be dazzled and charmed by vocalists Bill A. Jones and Nancy Osborne. The show provides a “non-stop” 1940’s music experience. The audience will “vote” for their favorite!
Bill A. Jones is known to millions from his multiple appearances as news anchor ‘Rod Remington’ on the hit Fox TV show “GLEE”. Bill was recently named one of LA’s top
Male Cabaret/Concert Artists. As a singer, Bill has opened for Tony Bennett and Steve Tyrell, and has toured with The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Bill swings the great
standards in the tradition of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble & others. His latest CD, “I’ve Heard That Song, Big Band Songbook”, was recently released to high acclaim.
