Delve into the multicultural roots of American music with Puttin’ Down Roots. This brand new Americana music series will fill the Lyric Court with music every Friday in July! Enjoy a different genre of live roots music each week. We’ll have a food truck market, a cash bar, and a dance floor for those who can’t resist the rhythm at each event. See the full schedule here.

*Moonlight Trio*

As originators of a unique blend of musical styles, called Cumbiabilly, Moonlight Trio captures the sound and essence of Southern California by playing a mix of old school rock ‘n roll, rockabilly, cumbia, Tex-Mex and traditional Mexican music performed with a rockabilly twist. The band is comprised of L.A. music scene veterans and brothers, Aaron & Al Martinez on drums and guitar, respectively, along with Sergio Arroyo on upright bass. All three members of the group trade off on lead vocals and lend their voices to rich harmonies, while keeping the music upbeat and solid. Moonlight Trio is sure to get you up and keep your feet moving! So grab your best dance partner and get ready for a fiesta, Cumbiabilly style!
