The Barn Stage Company brings an amazing cast of piano playing vocalists displaying their talents on not one, but two grand pianos, backed by a live band, this show is not to be missed!
ALLEN EVERMAN has worked in the cabaret realm as both Musical Director and performer with Jordan Beck over the past 12 years. He has been seen on-stage with 3D Theatricals in Parade and The Full Monty and has starred in productions at Candlelight Pavilion (Guys and Dolls/Bye Bye Birdie/Music Man), The Chance Theatre (Parade), and at the Welk Resort Theatre in Escondido (Oklahoma/Hairspray/How to Succeed). Allen also works as a professional pianist and has musically directed over 50 shows throughout Southern CA; most recently the acclaimed production of The Secret Garden at 3D Theatricals. He has had the good fortune to work with such ‘greats’ as Sutton Foster, Carol Burnett, Eden Espinosa, Anthony Rapp, and Bobby Rydell.
JACOB JEFFRIES is a singer, songwriter, piano player from the suburbs of South Florida. After winning the Florida Grammy Showcase for ‘best new artist’ in 2008, Jacob Jeffries (Band) hit the road. Hopping from festivals like Wanee & SXSW to colleges across the Southeast U.S. and back to their South Florida home, Jacob and the band were fortunate enough to have shared the stage with talents like Allen Stone, Gavin Degraw, Eric Hutchinson, and Pentatonix. Jacob teamed up with multi Grammy Award-winning producers Dan Warner & Sebastian Krys for his 3rd release – a 2012 full length album called Tell Me Secrets, with a music video for “Suffocate My Heart” featured on MTV. In 2014, after the loss of his mother Laura, Jacob released an EP entitled Neighborhood Nights which premiered at #1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. In support of the EP, Jacob embarked on a solo headlining tour & a national tour with Emily Kinney (Beth from TV’s The Walking Dead). Shifting gears for his 4th release, Jacob teamed up with established songwriter/producer Jared Faber for a electro-pop EP called Hometowns, the intention was to land some synch and licensing spots, which resulted in Jacob co-writing 2 songs & becoming the singing voice of “Robin” in Warner Bros.’ Teen Titans: Go! To the Movies. Jacob’s musical career in Los Angeles includes the new musical comedy project “The Cooties” which is represents by Thruline Management and has performed at JFL (Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal & Toronto) and has secured a development deal with a TV network for their own music-based short as well as making their nation TV debut on Conan O’Brien in September. In May of 2018, Jacob released a full length record called Mother Land. The 13 song record is a collection of songs old and new, after much success with the comedy music, Mother Land helped Jacob re-establish is footing in the core of Los Angeles’ songwriter’s community.
JACK LIPSON has sung with Josh Groban at the Hollywood Bowl and collaborated with such artists as Darren Criss, Sally Struthers, Michael Feinstein, Sam Harris, Michael Arden, and Wendie Malick—to name just a handful. He served 2 years as the musical director of the Wyoming Theater Festival, where he developed and wrote arrangements for playwright Mark Saltzman’s Romeo & Bernadette and Another Roll of the Dice, the latter which he then orchestrated for workshop productions in Boston, San Jose, and an upcoming world premiere at North Coast Repertory in Solano Beach. With Reprise 2.0, Jack associate musical directed Sweet Charity starring Laura Bell Bundy and contributed orchestrations to And the World Goes Round. He and his twin brother Benny co-spearhead the award-winning project jackbenny, who’ve toured their “sensational, clever and astute” originals in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, and even as far as Falam, Myanmar.
BENNY LIPSON Composer and multi-instrumentalist Benny Lipson has shared stages with music giants like Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, Barry Manilow, and Ben Folds in iconic venues like the Hollywood Bowl and Disney Hall. Benny played bass in the orchestras of Cagney at the El Portal, Another Roll of the Dice at the Wyoming Theater Festival, and for singers including Lesli Margherita, Valerie Perri, and undie-rock duo The Skivvies throughout the West Coast. With his twin brother Jack, he formed the award-winning project appropriately named jackbenny. They shared their debut show in 2016 with musician-comedian Reggie Watts, and have since played their “sensational, clever and astute” originals in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Sheridan, Wyoming, where they presented their “musicalette,” Miranda, Please! through the Wyoming Theater Festival—even in Falam, Myanmar. jackbenny serves as house band for both For Good: a monthly night of showtunes to save the world and Jonnie Reinhart’s A Queer Cabaret, where the Lipsons have collaborated with artists including Darren Criss and Michael Arden. www.jackbennynow.com
