I’ll Be Seeing You on the Chattanooga Cho-Cho to take a Sentimental Journey to Tuxedo Junction and get In The Mood to hear Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy!
In The Mood celebrates America’s greatest generation through the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, The Andrews Sisters, Frank Sinatra and other idols of the 1940s. The 13-piece String of Pearls Big Band and six singer-dancers (including a high energy Swing Dance couple complete with flips) present the great melodies of the swing era in a musical revue that is jazzy, sentimental, rhythmic, nostalgic and patriotic with authentic musical arrangements, costumes and choreography.
Now in its 23rd year on national tour, under the direction of Bud Forrest, In The Mood has played a Bill Clinton inaugural ball, toured the nation during the 50th year celebration of the end of World War II (1994-95) in affiliation with the USO and this summer is making its third month-long tour of Australia.
All ages are welcome to attend. Group (8+) and student discounts available through Box Office.
