All about The Conference Center

The Conference Center plays a crucial role in furthering The Center’s mission – to bring the community together to discover, create, and celebrate the arts. The ways they do it are seemingly endless, but what we know they’re experts in is creating wonderful memories for our community and business partners.

What better way to unite the community than to bring happy couples, family and friends together at The Center than to host their most special occasions? We are honored that so many families and business throughout San Diego choose The Center for their celebrations – it is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Did you know we can host any type of event you could possibly dream up?

Whether it’s a holiday office party, a swanky quinceañera, or the wedding of your dreams, custom events are the Conference Center’s specialty.

Bride and Groom seatingWe accommodate events through out the campus including on our stages, in our courtyards and museum and on our beautiful lawn. The spaces to choose from are many: ballroom and meeting rooms to accommodate from 20 to 1200 people, a 9,000 square foot Ballroom has just been beautifully remodeled, courtyards and lawns for outdoor, spacious events, and beyond.

At The Center, we view your event as more than just an event – its a memory in the making. The possibilities are many and the challenges are few when you book with our professional Sales and Catering Team – anything you can imagine can become your reality.  You can create a truly unique event by combining venues and experiences such as a private cocktail reception prior to a performance or tour of our latest Museum exhibition.  You can even put your love in the spotlight with a wedding on stage!

Did you know the Conference Center is full-service, complete with our own Banquet and Kitchen staff featuring and Executive Chef?

The Conference Center catering team is well-equipped to create any kind of food experience you could wish for with your event.  Our Banquet Team also service Concessions in our theaters – so even when you come by for an evening show, you may still get to experience the scrumptiousness of our Catering Team’s culinary genius.

Did you know The Center has been providing 160 boxed lunches daily for Escondido’s Senior Nutrition Program?

That’s right – Executive Chef Eric Ybarra and his trusty team of team of just 2 part time employees have been joyfully providing delicious & healthy boxed lunches for seniors in Escondido since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

While corporate parties, live shows, and other forms of entertainment have been stalled, Chef Eric is still putting his culinary creativity to use to feed Escondido’s senior citizens.

Food has always been a way for communities to bond and come closer together, and Chef Eric’s skills have proven that to be the case here as well.  Watch the video to learn just how much of an impact The Center’s culinary team is having on Escondido’s seniors.
