Past meets present with the drive-in experience allowing for social distancing and safe entertainment. Movies will be shown on large LED screens while concerts will include a live stage performance shown on LED screens. Once you are in your spot, we ask that you not leave your vehicle. Those who purchase a ticket will receive further information by email on how to enjoy and enhance the experience, including the designated FM radio station. All ages are welcome, but we do encourage you to review the rating of the film before purchasing a ticket.
Q: WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN?
A: All CDC and State of California guidelines will be followed, and we are working closely with San Diego County to ensure this event meets or exceeds all recommended standards. To ensure safety, we will leave enough distance between you and the surrounding vehicles. We ask that all guests remain in their vehicles, practice social distancing, and wear masks for the entire performance. In the event it is necessary for a guest to leave their vehicle, guests must use safe and social distancing practices. Security will be strictly enforced guidelines. Failure to follow safe social distancing, or requests of security or staff members for guests to follow, will cause the guest to be subject to removal. Event staff will be wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) as required by CDC guidelines.
ENTRANCE & PARKING
Drive-in experiences are located at Cal State San Marcos in parking Lot F. Please proceed to Lot F and pull into the two entrances leading into the Lot for ticket checking. From there you will be directed into your parking spot.
The lot will open 2 hours prior to each showing or event. We suggest planning your arrival as early as possible so that our staff can assist by parking you in the best spot possible depending on availability and the size of your vehicle. Ushers will direct cars into a designated parking spot. Large vehicles will be unable to park in the front rows and will be guided to designated large vehicle spots. RVs and campers are not permitted. At the conclusion of the showing, all cars must immediately leave the lot.
For the safety of our staff and guests, we ask that you remain in your vehicle throughout the entirety of the show. Surfaces will be cleaned on an ongoing basis and our staff will be wearing masks.
FOOD AND DRINK
Outside food is permitted but we ask that you support local restaurants in the area. If you are patronizing the local restaurants in San Marcos we ask that you drink responsibly. This is an alcohol-free event.
You can’t go to the drive-in without your favorite munchies! Snack Packs are only $20 and are filled with your classic movie theater morsels: pretzels, white cheddar popcorn, peanut M&Ms, trail mix, red vines, Whoppers, Chocolate Hazelnut Nutella Spread, and Ritz Crackers!
And of course, your snack pack comes with 2 bottles of Dasani water to wet your whistle after you chow down!
Snack Packs are available for online purchase only and will not be available for purchase at the Drive-In.
Q: CAN I PURCHASE A TICKET AT THE EVENT?
A: No – tickets are only available online before the event. No tickets will not be sold in-person on-site.

Q: DOES MY TICKET PURCHASE WORK FOR ALL EVENT DAYS?
A: No. Each show date and time requires a ticket specific to that event.
Q: ONCE I BUY MY TICKET, HOW IS IT RECEIVED?
A: The ticket will be included in the confirmation. You may print out the ticket or just open the PDF included with the confirmation on your phone.
Q: IF I DON’T HAVE A TICKET CAN I LISTEN TO THE SHOW FROM THE SIDEWALK OR OTHER NEARBY AREA?
A: No. All surrounding areas, including parking lots will be inaccessible for watching or listening to the show.
Q: ARE PARKING SPACES ASSIGNED?
A: No – All tickets are General Admission will NOT be assigned prior to arrival. Vehicles will be placed on a first come first served basis and will also be based on vehicle size. To ensure you don’t miss a thing, we added large video screens on each side of the stage. For those fans looking for the most intimate experience, a limited number of front row tickets will be on-sale at a premium price. Large vehicles will be unable to park in the front rows and will be guided to designated large vehicle spots

Q: RULES FOR PARKING
A: Please follow the direction of parking attendants and venue staff. For everyone’s safety, it is important that you stay in the space you are assigned throughout the event. Parking spaces between vehicles must remain clear.
Q: WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
A: Parking Lot F will open 2 hours prior to showtime. We suggest planning your arrival as early as possible so that our staff can assist by parking you in the best spot possible depending on availability and the size of your vehicle.
Q: WHERE SHOULD WE ENTER?
A: Entrance to Cal State San Marcos Parking Lot F is located on the beautiful Cal State San Marcos campus on Palm Canyon Drive and can be accessed from Craven Rd off of Twin Oaks.
Q: HOW DO I SCAN MY TICKET?
A: Social distance scanning will be by holding the ticket against your rolled up window. Our team will scan your ticket through the glass. If this is not possible and your window needs to be rolled down, you must wear a mask. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Q: WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE?
A: Gates close 15 minutes past show time. NO one will be allowed in after that. No refunds will be granted.
Q: WHAT IF I DON’T USE MY TICKET?
A: All sales are final and there will be no refunds unless the show is Sold-out. If the show is sold out you can turn in your ticket for a full refund so others can purchase it. To receive a full refund on a sold-out show you must email: firstname.lastname@example.org 30 hours prior to showtime.
Q: DOES EVERYONE IN MY CAR NEED A TICKET?
A: For movies and concerts each person in the car will need a ticket. The number of passengers in your vehicle must not exceed the number of safety belts/seats. It is recommended that you only share a vehicle with household members with whom you have been sheltering in place.
Q: CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
A: In and out privileges are not permitted.
Q: IF I NEED TO LEAVE BEFORE THE SHOW IS OVER, WILL I BE ABLE TO EXIT THE PARKING LOT?
A: We ask that everyone stay in their parking space until the end of the show. In case of an emergency, you may exit.
Q: WILL RESTROOMS BE AVAILABLE?
A: Yes. But the following guidelines must be observed:
All guests exiting their vehicle MUST wear a Mask or face covering.
No more than two guests per vehicle can leave to use the restroom at the same time.
Once out of the vehicle guests must maintain 6 ft. social distancing with a guided walk line to the restroom.
Plenty of porta-potties, and handwashing and sanitizer stations will be located throughout the venue to prevent gatherings or clusters.
All restrooms will be monitored by a housekeeping attendant to ensure surfaces are cleaned after each use.
Security will be present at all restroom areas to maintain order and social distancing rules.
Anybody who does not follow the rules will be asked to leave.
Q: WILL CONCESSIONS BE AVAILABLE?
A: No. Concessions will not be available.
Q: WILL CARS BE SEARCHED?
A: All cars are subject to search.
Q: WILL SOMEONE BE PICKING UP TRASH?
A: We ask that you please take your trash with you and dispose of it at home.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
A: This is a rain or shine event.
Q: WHAT KINDS OF VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED?
A: Vehicles and trucks must fit in a single, standard parking space. Oversize vehicles such as RVs and trailers are not permitted. LIFTED, VEHICLES MUST park in assigned areas. Large vehicles will be unable to park in the front rows and will be guided to designated large vehicle spots. Standard stock vehicles are permitted to park anywhere in the venue.
Q: HOW DO I HEAR THE CONCERT OR MOVIE?
A: Audio will be transmitted via FM radio. Video screens will show you which station to tune into for your show.

Q: WHAT IF MY CAR BATTERY DIES DURING THE CONCERT?
A: Our staff can assist you to jump-start your car.
Q: DO MY HEADLIGHTS NEED TO BE OFF?
Q: DO I NEED TO STAY INSIDE MY VEHICLE?
Yes. We ask that all attendees stay inside their vehicles. You may view the show from the bed of your truck. You may not be sitting so high as to obstruct the view of others. Hatches may be open but must not exceed roof height. If hatch is spring-loaded please tie it down so it doesn’t obstruct the view of others. Please use common courtesy so everyone can enjoy the show. You may leave your vehicle with your mask on to use the restroom and to pick up your food at any Westfield North County restaurant locations. If you are leaving the fenced-in drive-in parking lot you must obtain a wristband for re-entry to the event. If you do not obtain a wristband you will be denied re-entry to the event.
Q: CAN WE SIT IN A TRUCK BED?
A: Yes. We would love for you to enjoy the show from the bed of your truck. We ask that you wear your mask as you travel from the cab to the bed of your truck. Once you are sitting in the bed you may remove your mask.
Q: IS SMOKING ALLOWED?
A: No. To be considerate of all attendees we do not allow smoking at this event. Thank you for your understanding.
Q: CAN I BRING MY PET TO THE SHOW?
A: NO Pets allowed.
Q: WILL THERE BE AN ENCORE PERFORMANCE?
The following items and activities are prohibited at this event:
Advertising, selling or promoting any third party product (including, but not limited to, food and beverage items)
Grills or fryers
Kerosene lamps or open flames of any kind
Tents, stand umbrellas and tarps
Use of drones
Wagons and strollers
Please note that failure to follow these guidelines may result in ejection from the event.
