Award-winning pianist, Tingyuan Luo performs a night of spectacular classical music and new music! 

An award-winning pianist, Tingyuan Luo toured and performed piano recitals in major cities in China from 2015 to 2017. She represented one of the highest level of classical pianists in her age. Impressively, Ms. Luo has won awards in the United States Open Music Competition, United States International Music Competition, Pearl River-Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition, China-ASEAN Youth Piano Competition and many more national and international competitions.

Well-known Chinese Media ETTV reviewed her interpretation of Beethoven Sonata Op. 31 No.3 stating, “The beautiful melody she played makes audiences feel the hope in life.’’

Ms. Luo is phenomenal for her unique interpretation on classical piano repertoire and new music. She is one of the pianists in her generation who has maintained a very active and promising performing career. Starting to play the piano at the age of 7, Ms. Luo became a concert pianist after her multiple international awards beginning in 2013. In her home country of China, Ms. Luo performed piano solo recitals at prestigious institutes such as Guangxi Arts Institute and Yulin Teachers’ University. In her recital series in the fall of 2017, She performed in top universities such as Guangxi Teachers’ Academy, Guangxi University and Sichuan Teachers’ University, as well as in prestigious concert halls such as Xiamen Gulangyu Concert Hall and Guangzhou Steinway Concert Hall.

Her piano performances have been highly appraised multiple times by the media in U.S. such as Singtao Daily Newspaper and World Journal. Xiamen Nighttime Newspaper posted a concert review for her Gulangyu Piano Recital, commenting on her virtuoso piano skills as an extraordinary pianist with a rare musical gift and enormous passion.

For the first solo piano recital Ms. Luo will be performing at the Center Theater on February 28th 2021, she will be playing fabulous selections from legendary composer including Domenico Scarlatti, Alexander Scriabin and new age music composer Kevin Kern.

Ms. Luo will continue performing classical and new music repertoires in her piano recital tour in the U.S.
