The Education Department at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido is once again offering a free 2nd Saturday art lesson on Saturday, May 12th for Mother’s Day Weekend .
In the movie Alice in Wonderland, once said, “You can learn a lot of things from the flowers.” And this 2nd Saturday is no exception! The flowers and butterflies we paint in this lesson will teach us how to create a watercolor without using a brush. After directed drawing, our teaching artist will guide you through the watercolor pouring technique to bring your springy scene together!
One hour free, art classes are being offered at 10am and 11am. Please RSVP for your preferred class time, and arrive early to get a good seat!
For all art activities, we provide the materials — attendees just bring their creativity! All ages are welcome.
For questions, please contact Museum & Education Coordinator, Laurissa Rudgers, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
