Did you know The Center is a non-profit organization?
This means 2 big things:
1) We have a mission of bringing the community together to discover, create, and celebrate the arts. What exactly does this mean? It means we see a happier, healthier, more thriving community when we all have the opportunity to express our individuality and creativity freely – and together. Sharing our gifts together helps build stronger bonds between friends, family, and the community as a whole. Our vision is to help create a community where every voice, idea, and feeling is heard and understood. We believe that art helps us do just that.
2) We depend on the generosity of individual donors, corporate sponsors, charitable foundations, and government agencies to fund our work so that we can continue to bring valuable arts programming to North County San Diego. You can join this inspiring mission by becoming a donor. Visit artcenter.org/donate to get started.
Did you know The Center has an amazing 12-acre campus?
The Center’s unique campus includes a 1,500-seat concert hall, a 400-seat theater, a contemporary art museum, art and dance studios, and a full-service conference center with meeting and banquet facilities ready to host corporate gatherings, weddings and other special life events.
On top of all this, The Center’s campus boasts The Great Green sits adjacent to Escondido’s Grape Day Park. This park is often the home for many of The Center’s festivities and community events throughout the year such as outdoor concerts, light shows, and festivals.
Did you know The Center has arts programming for all ages?
You may know that we produce tons of stage performances and museum exhibitions each year. But did you know that we also host countless arts education events as well? We sure do!
Every Tuesday is #TeachTuesday at The Center, where we host a virtual art event on our Facebook Page. What are these virtual art events like, you ask? We’re glad you did! Once a month, we host a Craft + SIP activity, which is a fun, good-for-all-ages art activity (often themed to the season). We often bring on a guest host to share their artistic talents with us, and lead our crafting activity!
#TeachTuesday events are completely free and available for all to participate online. Join us on our Facebook Page for the next one!
