Musical group, Pink Martini returns for one-night only at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 7:30pm in the Concert Hall.
Drawing inspiration from a fabulous lineup of music, Pink Martini crosses genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop.
Pink Martini’s multilingual repertoire is a blend influenced by Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, and Tito Puente as well as Argentine tango, Brazilian samba, Italian folk, and romantic Hollywood musicals of the 1940s and ’50s.
“PINK MARTINI IS A ROLLICKING AROUND-THE-WORLD MUSICAL ADVENTURE… IF THE UNITED NATIONS HAD A HOUSE BAND IN 1962, HOPEFULLY WE’D BE THAT BAND.”
– Thomas Lauderdale, Bandleader/Pianist
