Join us for an evening of glitz and glamour as ten prominent community and business leaders tango, salsa, samba, cha-cha, and waltz their way across the dance floor to compete in the California Center for the Arts, Escondido’s 5th Annual Dancing with our Stars fundraiser on Saturday, April 4, 2020.
Community and business stars include Fox 5 Morning News Anchor, Shally Zomorodi; Vice President, Philanthropy & Chief Philanthropy Officer for Palomar Health, Wayne Herron; Retired Sergeant Major, Brian Fogarty; Managing Partner of RG Alliance Group, Ryan Saathoff; VP of Business Development and Sales for Printer Repair Depot, Joe Coyle; Executive Director for ECOLIFE Conservation, Anne Middleton; Owner of Koffie, Briana Chiddick; Sandra de Uijl of Continuity Products, LLC; Darren Pudgil of Pudgil & Company; and Kim Henson of Henson’s Fix Auto.
All 10 stars will be paired with professional dance instructors from regional dance studios including Arthur Murray Studio Escondido, Continuum Dance Project, San Diego, Trilogy Dance Studio Rancho Bernardo, and Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts, Vista.
Dance couples will compete in the Center’s 1,500-seat concert hall, emulating the format of the popular reality show, Dancing with the Stars.
Celebrity Judges include Senior Vice President & General Manager of Harrah’s Resort Southern California, Darrell Pilant; Home Renovating Youtuber of Room Bloom, Upholsterer/Owner of Homebird Upholstery, & Writer of LuckyLittleMustardseed.com, Jenna Pilant; SAG/AFTRA Voice Over and On-Air Talent, Ronni Richards; and Outreach Coordinator of the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, Justin Flores.
Returning for the 2nd year as the Master of Ceremonies is on-air radio personality, Hula Ramos.
VIP tickets can be purchased for $175, and include premium seating, a VIP dinner reception with hosted beer and wine and early bidding for premium silent auction items.

Proceeds benefit the Center’s education and outreach programs, which serve over 85,000 people each year, including Center Stage performances for youth and Art Discovery field trips (art, drama, dance, and music) for K-12 students. Proceeds also benefit free community events such as Second Saturdays (galleries and museums open for free activities), 4th of July festival, Dia de Los Muertos Festival & Winter Wonderland Festival.
