The inaugural TEDxEscondido event will present a diverse selection of live presenters mixed with TED talk videos and remarkable performances – sparking deep conversation and meaningful connections.
TED – Technology, Entertainment, Design invites the world’s leading thinkers and doers to present their latest “Ideas Worth Spreading.” First held in 1984 as an annual event in California, TED was acquired from its founder, Richard Saul Wurman, in 2001 by Chris Anderson’s Sapling Foundation and developed into a multi -media/experience platform. Past speakers include Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Ray Kurzweil, Paola Antonelli, Frank Gehry, Sheryl Sandberg, Gordon Brown, Dan Ariely, and Bono.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, Ideas Worth Spreading. The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.

Tickets $120 including fees for live event in the Center Theater. No fees if purchased at the CCAE Box Office.
All tickets include continental breakfast and buffet lunch.
