February 18, 2025 – Escondido, CA – The California Center for the Arts, Escondido Foundation (CCAEF) is proud to announce that its Board of Trustees has officially named Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts (TCAA) as a resident company of the Escondido-based arts and culture institution. This partnership marks a significant step in the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to fostering local artistic excellence, expanding cultural programming, and providing greater access to the arts for the North County community.
Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts, renowned for its dedication to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Mexican folkloric dance and music, has been a vital part of the region’s artistic landscape. By becoming a resident company of CCAEF, TCAA will have greater opportunities to present performances, engage in educational outreach, and collaborate with other artists and organizations within the Center’s vibrant arts ecosystem.
