The California Center for the Arts, Escondido is centrally-located and easy to find. We’ve created this step-by-step guide to help you get here and make the most of your visit:
Step 1: Get to the Center
The Center is located at:
340 North Escondido Boulevard
Escondido, CA 92025
To get here by car, you can get exact turn-by-turn directions on your computer or smartphone by using a popular mapping service:
Or, view and print our simple list of turn-by-turn directions.
To get here by mass transit, we encourage you to learn more about the Sprinter light rail and Breeze bus systems. Both services have stops at the Escondido Transit Center (located about a half mile from the Center), and the Breeze has numerous routes and bus stops on the Downtown Escondido streets that surround the Center.
Step 2: Park at the Center
Parking at the Center is FREE! Our large parking lot is located at the corner of Escondido Boulevard and Woodward Avenue, adjacent to the Concert Hall. Please respect our neighbors and only park in this lot.
Step 3: Explore the Campus
Before you leave home, you may want to get familiar with the campus via our online tour, or print out our complete campus map (PDF). The map shows all the major destinations and venues on campus, and how to walk on to campus after you park.
If you’re without a map, walking to your venue on campus is easy. Once you’ve parked your car, just look for a walkway in the center of the parking lot. Walk south on that walkway (the large Concert Hall building will be visible ahead) until you cross a bridge with colorful paintings on its walls. After the bridge, you will be on the Center’s campus with a tree-studded space straight ahead. A corridor to the right of the trees will usually be marked with a small sign listing the day’s events. Go down this corridor, and from there, you can get to every venue on campus. Enjoy your visit!
