The California Center for the Arts, Escondido provides the perfect backdrop to create a unique and memorable wedding. The Center’s dramatic architecture, peaceful ambiance and artistic spaces offer couples a one-of-a-kind canvas upon which they can paint a romantic, inspired and personalized day.
With its onsite catering and banquet services and dedicated wedding professionals, the Center will take the stress out of planning your big day. And with more than 12 acres of lush landscape and breathtaking architecture, the Center is a multifaceted venue that can deliver on any bride’s vision — whether she longs to get married on stage with theatrical flair, outdoors with grass beneath her feet and sunshine overhead, with classic elegance in a well-appointed ballroom, or in the chic setting of a contemporary art museum.
The Center has two enchanting courtyards overlooking the sprawling Great Green lawn. Framed by arches, the Lyric Courtyard is nestled in the grandeur of the dynamic Concert Hall while the Sculpture Courtyard, centered within the Art Museum, offers a more modern, streamlined feel. Ceremonies or receptions can also be held on stage in the 1,500-seat Concert Hall, or in the more intimate 400-seat Center Theater.
At the Center, we put your love in the spotlight. We host dozens of weddings each year and can accommodate anywhere from 50 to 600 guests. We’d be honored to be part of your special day and make your dreams come true!
